We offer a wide range of support & repair services for a range of barcode scanners and barcode readers, from maintenance contracts with Scan-Care through to a "pay as you go" repair service for barcode scanners and readers.
In recognition of our repair and service work, our service and technical department has been awarded “Authorised Repair Centre” status by Datalogic.
DataScan offers 3 levels of Service and Repair options –
Scan-Care+ Maintenance Solutions
This option can be taken out at any time to cover all your barcode products, be it fixed position barcode readers, handheld barcode scanners or portable data terminals. Once covered you can rest assured that should your products fail, we promise your product will be up and running within the time stated in your contract. Turn-around times are guaranteed!

Scan-Care Extended Warranty
Taken out at the time of purchase, this extends the standard manufacturers warranty, and is available in 3,4 & 5-year options dependent upon the equipment purchased. Scan-Care Extended Warranty offers fast track turnaround, however this is not guaranteed.

“Pay as you go” Barcode Scanner Repair
We at DataScan can service and repair all Datalogic barcode scanners and readers, regardless of their age or where they were purchased. Simply :-
- Fill out an RPA request form online
- Return the goods to us
- A Quotation will be provided (for your approval)
- Your item will then be repaired
